Golden Wax 464 is a natural wax that includes a soy-based additive, causing variations between different batches. This additive allows for pouring at higher temperatures, reducing frosting and enabling the wax to hold more fragrance oil. It also mixes well with paraffin slack wax and microcrystalline waxes, and its higher melting point helps it retain a strong scent.
However, using Golden Wax 464 can be tricky. For best results, the fragrance amount and pouring temperature need to be carefully adjusted based on your candle-making environment, as these can significantly impact the quality of the candles produced.
